V.B. COLUMNA CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION
VBCCC is a family owned corporation headed by its founder and Chairman of the Board, Engr. Virgilio B. Columna on March 06, 1992.
Engr. Columna, the backbone of this company, took his Civil Engineering course at National University, Manila in 1972 and is registered civil engineer by Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) on Jan. 26, 1973 with PRC No. 12686. In 1972-1974 he had a chance to be one of the few who were granted with Scholarship for the Master of Engineering (Major in Structural) and subsequently graduated in Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand.
During his career, he served as senior engineer at Engineering Development Corporation of the Philippines (EDCOP) and as structural consultant for P. Bermudez & Associates, Techphil Inc. and Urban Integrated Consultancy, Inc. He had been a special lecturer at the University of the East (U.E.) College of Engineering and was a design reviewer at Allied Review Center and Engineering Review Center. He is also the Principal Author of Civil Engineering Board Reviewer, Design & Construction, SI Edition, Manila, September, 1985. At present, he is an active Fellow of Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE), as a Structural Specialist of Structural Engineering Specialty Division. He also belongs to the few and honored members of Association of Structural Engineers of the Philippines (ASEP) group of fellows and was elected as National President for the year 2013-2014. More over in September 2011 he was awarded as one of the 50 Most Outstanding ASEP Structural Engineers.
VBCCC is a general contractor, with PCAB License No. 32581, Category “AAA”, operates entire the country; Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Since its existence the firm engages in total Architectural and Engineering Design and Construction of Religious, Commercial, Educational, Medical, Industrial and Residential Structures including Land Development, Road and other horizontal structures.
